Press Release: HPS Names New Director and Associate

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Hamilton Place Strategies is pleased to announce that Daniel Son has joined the firm as a Director and Courtney Bishop has been hired as an Associate.

Daniel Son comes to HPS with five years of experience on Capitol Hill.  He most recently served as Communications Director for U.S. Representative Sean Duffy (WI-07). Previously, he held the same position with U.S. Representative Charles Djou (HI-01). In those roles, Daniel served as a spokesman and led the press team developing communications strategy and messaging. He holds a BS in Sociology with an undergraduate degree in Political Science from James Madison University.

Courtney Bishop most recently worked as a production assistant at NBC News Channel on Capitol Hill, where she booked guests for interviews and live segments. Courtney also assisted producers with research and editing for news packages. Previously, she spent a year at WRC-TV News 4 in Washington working on the assignment desk and writing for NBCWashington.com.  She received a B.A. in media studies and minor in psychology from The Catholic University of America.
