Julie Sarne is a senior associate at Hamilton Place Strategies, where she assists a range of clients with strategic communications and policy objectives related to finance, trade, and economic innovation.
Julie was previously an intern for HPS, where she focused on issues including trade, international insurance, and economic policy. Prior to joining HPS, Julie served as a Research Assistant at University of Chicago’s Medical Center. In her time at University of Chicago, she contributed to several projects designed to evaluate and reduce racial and ethnic healthcare disparities. Julie was also an Organizing Fellow on President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign. In this role, she managed volunteer operations in Chicago’s 43rd Ward, led canvassing trips to Iowa, and analyzed voter and volunteer data.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Julie graduated with honors from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and was inducted to Phi Beta Kappa.
