Biography

Maggie Wang is an analyst at Hamilton Place Strategies, where she assists clients in developing and implementing data-driven communications strategies.

Before joining HPS, Maggie held multiple research internships in the fields of defense acquisition and export control, most recently at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Much of her prior work centers on obtaining, managing, and extracting insights from open government data: she consulted for political risk consultancies and worked with nonprofits to make public records more accessible. Additionally, Maggie served as a communications intern at UN Environment.

Maggie holds a degree in Government and Statistical & Data Sciences from Smith College. She also studied technology policy at the Graduate Institute (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland.
